Is Fantasmic and the Fireworks show different at Walt Disney World compared to Disneyland?
Question:
I am going to Walt Disney World in Dec/Jan and was trying to plan what to do and what to skip. Just wondering if the fireworks show is the same as at Disneyland. I have seen the one at Disneyland about 15-20 times. Also wondering if Fantasmic is the same or different between WDW and Disneyland. Thanks!

I know Wishes at the Magic Kingdom is new as of 2003, but I’m unfamiliar with how it compares to Disneyland. Fantasmic! at Disneyland was written in 1993 and it has limited space, whereas Fantasmic! at the Disney-MGM Studios is placed in a 5000-seat amphitheater and has a some Lion King, no Peter Pan.
My favorite fireworks show at Walt Disney World is at Epcot – Illuminations, Reflections of Earth. It is probably one of the coolest shows (much more than just fireworks), and it would be worth a day’s park pass just to experience. Also, the park closes after Illuminations. But since Epcot has a back entrance they don’t systematically clear out the park like others and this is a great time to hang out and check out some of the World Showcase pavilions.
